"Give It 2 U" is a song by American-Canadian R&B recording artist Robin Thicke, featuring a guest appearance from American rapper Kendrick Lamar. The song was initially released on July 2, 2013 as a promotional single, before officially being serviced to US Top 40/Mainstream radio on August 27, 2013 as the second single from Thicke's sixth studio album Blurred Lines (2013). The song, produced by Dr. Luke and Cirkut, was written by the two alongside William Adams, Robin Thicke and Kendrick Lamar Duckworth. It has so far peaked at number 25 on the Billboard Hot 100 and 41 on the ARIA chart in Australia. The song originally leaked online featuring a verse from American rapper 2 Chainz, after Thicke gave the green light to premiere the song on Shade 45's radio show Sway In The Morning. The song was later dubbed as the remix and is included on the deluxe edition as a bonus track. The Diane Martel-directed music video also includes 2 Chainz's verse. Thicke, Lamar and 2 Chainz all performed the song at the 2013 VMAs.

The song received heavy downloads in its first week, resulting in the song debuting at number three on the Billboard Hot 100.

The track received a mixed response from music critics, who praised it as "catchy" and noted it as one of Goulding's most "radio friendly" songs to date, while others felt it was not memorable. "Burn" earned Goulding her first number-one single on the UK Singles Chart, selling 116,857 copies in its first week. Elsewhere, it reached the top ten in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Ireland and New Zealand.

The Finatticz is a Hip-Hop group who hail from the eastside of Los Angeles. They comprise James "Killa F" Dunn, Tyrone "Jayarah The Truth" Revis, Darrel "Nyce" Beason Jr.and Anthony "Ez The Great" Brown. 

"Thun Thun" is a term used in the Bay area that refers to a small tablet in the form of the street drug MDM. The hook basically means "take that molly pill." The song's beat was created by Compton-based rapper and producer Tycuan "Payso B" Williams who is signed to singer Ray J's music label, Knockout Entertainment. 

The song was first recorded by the crew in 15 minutes in 2009 and got its first spins at a house party. Killa F recalled to LA Weekly: "I remember we recorded it during the day, and that night we played it for a huge party at my girl O Titty's house. 

Everyone told us to turn it up!" The tune began building organically then a remix featuring Tyga was dropped in February 2012. Soon after, Payso B played it for Ray J, who brought the track to the attention of Alan Grunblatt, who is the President of eOne Music. The label signed The Finatticz to a single deal, with an album option.

The song's concept came from a conversation that songwriting duo The Warren Brothers (Brad Warren and Brett Warren) had with Kevin Rudolf over their varied musical interests. According to Brett, the song was sent to Urban, who is friends with the Warren Brothers, but he was initially unaware that they wrote it.

The song was released as the lead single from Blurred Lines on March 26, 2013 through Star Trak Recordings. Believing that the song was supposed to be a demo, Justin Timberlake had expressed interest in writing additional lyrics for the song as he wanted it to be the lead single from his The 20/20 Experience album (which was released earlier in 2013) but Pharrell denied him from acquiring the song as he believed that Thicke was already planning it to be the lead single of his album with the same title.
