It was released in June 2013 as the first single by Avicii from his upcoming debut studio album True, which is set to be released on September 17, 2013.The song achieved commercial success internationally, peaking at number one in 15 countries including in Italy, Ireland and the UK Singles Chart and charting on the US Billboard' Hot 100.

"Blurred Lines" is a song recorded by American R&B recording artist Robin Thicke, for his 2013 album of the same name. The song features guest vocals from American rapper T.I. and American singer and producer Pharrell; all three share writing credits on the song. It was produced by Pharrell. The song was released as the lead single from Blurred Lines on March 26, 2013 through Star Trak Recordings. Believing that the song was supposed to be a demo, Justin Timberlake had expressed interest in writing additional lyrics for the song as he wanted it to be the lead single from his The 20/20 Experience album (which was released earlier in 2013) but Pharrell denied him from acquiring the song as he believed that Thicke was already planning it to be the lead single of his album with the same title.

"Counting Stars" is a song by American pop rock band OneRepublic from their third studio album, Native. The song was written by lead singer Ryan Tedder, and it was produced by Tedder and Noel Zancanella. It was released as the album's third single on June 14, 2013 in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. It has debuted at No. 12 in the Irish Singles Chart. In the UK it has joined BBC Radio 2 playlist and is set to be released in the last week in July.

Whatever is a song and an EP of German rapper and singer Cro . The song was on 28 Published in June 2013 and is also on the album raop.

Raop is the debut album by German singer-songwriter Cro. The album was released on July 6, 2012 through Chimperator Productions. It sold 60,000 copies units in Germany in its first week. On March 23, the first single off the album, "Easy" was released. In June 2012, Cro's single "Easy" was certificated as Gold. Also, the music video gained 20,000,000 views on YouTube. From June 29 until July 1, Cro released one Single each day, "Du", "King of Raop", and "Meine Zeit". Music videos were also filmed for every single. On July 6, Cro released his debut album, Raop. Mid-July, "Easy", "Hi Kids", "Du", "King of Raop", and "Meine Zeit", all of his five released Singles were placed in the Top 100 in the German Single-Charts.

"Get Lucky" is a song by French house music duo Daft Punk, featuring Pharrell Williams and co-written with Nile Rodgers. It is the lead single from Daft Punk's fourth studio album Random Access Memories.Before its release as a single, "Get Lucky" was featured in television advertisements broadcast during Saturday Night Live, after which Rodgers and Pharrell announced their involvement in the track. Small excerpts also appear throughout the promotional video series The Collaborators.

Ellie Goulding - Burn

"Burn" is a song recorded by English singer Ellie Goulding for Halcyon Days (2013), the reissue of her second studio album, Halcyon (2012). The song was released as the lead single from the reissue on 5 July 2013. It was written by Ryan Tedder, Goulding, Greg Kurstin, Brent Kutzle and Noel Zancanella, while production was handled by Kurstin and vocal production was done by Tedder. 

The track received a mixed response from music critics, who praised it as "catchy" and noted it as one of Goulding's most "radio friendly" songs to date, while others felt it was not memorable. "Burn" earned Goulding her first number-one single on the UK Singles Chart, selling 116,857 copies in its first week. Elsewhere, it reached the top ten in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Ireland and New Zealand.
